Service and operator

These terms are between the merchant and Ellefsen Marketing (organization number 930 711 160), Korvettveien 23, 4624 Kristiansand S, Norway, the operator of Lige SKU Sentinel. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms and confirms that the person installing it has authority to act for the store.

The service reads accessible Shopify catalog data and reports potential blank, duplicate, or collision-prone identifiers. It links merchants to Shopify Admin but does not edit products.

Merchant responsibility

Findings are diagnostic and may not reflect a merchant’s business rules. The merchant is responsible for reviewing findings, deciding whether to change catalog data, maintaining appropriate backups, and keeping its Shopify account and app access secure. The service does not guarantee that it will identify every catalog problem or prevent fulfillment, integration, or reporting errors.

Plans and billing

Free and paid feature limits are described in the app. Paid charges, billing intervals, trials, taxes, and cancellation terms shown on Shopify’s plan-selection screen at the time of purchase control the subscription. Shopify processes app billing. Merchants can change or cancel a paid plan through Shopify’s plan-management flow; uninstalling the app also ends future app access, subject to Shopify’s billing rules.

Acceptable use

Merchants may not misuse the service, probe or disrupt its security, use it to access a store without authorization, evade plan limits, or use automated traffic that materially interferes with the service.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material plan or term changes will be presented through an appropriate service or Shopify channel.

Termination and data

A merchant may stop using the service by uninstalling it. We may restrict or terminate access for misuse, security risk, nonpayment, or violation of these terms. Data handling after uninstall is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Ellefsen Marketing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or merchant rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Applicable law

Mandatory law that applies to the relationship remains applicable. These terms do not select a jurisdiction or waive any non-waivable consumer or business rights.
